hey you crazy kids! anyone know any good browser based rpgs? i have played kol for ages and am boared with it. Majesty heroes of ardania is a great one but i like variety. i already know about legend of the green dragon so don't recommend that one plz. i'm looking for any kind of text based rpg. phantasyrpg.com is good but a bit confusing. Sryth is a bit linnier so i'm out of ideas! loads of them look accessable till you sign up and find that you have to click on a map to move or some crap like that! Anyway, i'm rambling! any suggestions welcome.Thanks!

They have hogwartslive.com. It's a good harry potter game.
Ash, you can also try elder Ages. You can find it at www.elderages.com It's very easy to find the links and equip your warriors with items to fight, you go up in levels and as you go up, you can equip better items to your warriors. The more warriors, battles, and levels you gain, the better. Check it out.

HL does get pretty boring, though I still go there I don't play it much.
Harry Potter Online is pretty fun. It is only a new site, and almost everyone there is off HL. It is heaps easier to level up, but at the same time it is more challenging.

Well I don't know wht your vison is like but if u can see the screen well enough try RuneScape at www.runescape.com. That is a really fun RPG. If anyone decides to join I can help u out with armor, weapons, and good food.
You can join as a FREE member or a member which is only $5 a month. I'm usulally on there quite a bit I go by Jaden Yugi71 and I'm a member.
Another RPG I found is called AdventureQuest at www.battleon.com, membership is to damn expensive on that site, I'm a FREE member on that one. Not as good as RuneScpe though but thought I might bring it up.

I'm a member to RuneScape and you need to have some sight to play it. I'm VI and I'm not sure how accessible for the blind it is but I wish they'd make it to where the blind could play. It's a real interesting game.
Although I haven't played it since I got FF12 for the PS2, I think I'm at level 79 on there. If anyone joins let me know I'm always willing to help a fellow noob out. Post it under the RuneScape topic I created though. Thanks!

Majesty Heros of Ardania is a browser based game. you might be getting strange results because its based on an old style vidio game, just like Green dragon, its been reworked and adapted to the net. in ardania you create your character in the usual way, choose your race etc. and then you toodle off in to the world. you start off in Valmorjen exploring for experience and you can buy maps to open the rest of the world. it is completely accessable apart from the chat. the thing with the chat is that it continually refreshes so is damn near imposible to read. no problem though because the forum and mail is just fine. the address is: http://www.heroesofardania.net.

I have just one word for you all:
telnet.
That said, I recommend alter aeon.
and I have a comment to that, telnet can die, if your going to play a game like that, you need to use a client like GMud, or ZMud, just to name a couple out of the whole bunch I have on this computer. Sadly, telnet is very very basic, so you don't get any functionality out of it.
If you want a good list of clients, just message me and I can give you a few.

Windows comes with one called hyperterminal. It's a good telnet program.
actually hyper terminal isn't so much a telnet app, as supposed to connecting things from the computer and stuff, but again, if you want functionality, you need a client that I mentioned earlier
